who we are
We are a warm and welcoming Anglican Christian community in Thurmaston, Leicester.

Living Hope Church opened its doors in 2022 with a passion for sharing the hope, love and new life found in Jesus Christ to all who live here. In a world that often feels uncertain, we believe that true and lasting hope is available to everyone through a relationship with Jesus.

Our heart is to be a place of belonging, encouragement and truth.
Our vision is to be a church where people of all backgrounds can grow in faith, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and discover the fullness of life He offers.

Whether you're exploring faith or seeking a church to call home, you are welcome here.
Oversight Minister
Steve heads up the team at Living Hope Church and coordinates the various events and gatherings that run in the life of this worshipping community.

Steve, along with his family, live in Houghton-on-the-Hill where Steve is the vicar of St Catharine's.
Associate Minister
Yvonne leads the team here at Living Hope, alongside Steve. Her role as associate minister sees her responsible for the general running of Living Hope as well as taking Sunday services. Her passion is very much for people and community, and she has the responsibility for pastoral care and safeguarding here.
Yvonne is also studying ministry at Crosslands Theological Training College.
When not working she can be found looking after her 3 sons with her husband Mark, and walking in fields with her 2 dogs.
Living Hope Church is in the parish of St Michael & All Angels, Thurmaston.
It is a joy to serve the people of Thurmaston alongside them.
We are also part of a team of churches: The Cornerstone Team.
The four churches in the Team are: St Luke's (Thurnby), St. Catharine's (Houghton),
St. Mary's and All Saints (Stoughton), and Living Hope Church.
We are partners in ministry and we support each other in many aspects of church life.
This reflects our vision to be part of God’s plan for all people to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, and hear his invitation to follow him.
